Thermodynamic
Sanitary Hot Water Systems
A
thermodynamic system is ideal for sanitary hot
water applications in both domestic and commercial
environments. There are cylinders ranging in
capacity from 200 litres to 6000 litres. The
panels can be mounted on the roof of your building,
an external wall or even in the garden. The number
of panels required depends on the volume of water
that will be heated.
The system is pressurised so the hot water tank (with control unit
and expansion valve) can be placed at any level within the building.

The
Concept
|
|
Conventional
sanitary hot water systems depend on gas, oil
or electric boilers to heat the water. These
systems are inefficient, expensive to run and
costly to the environment.
A thermodynamic
system is capable of taking energy from the
atmosphere
at temperatures as low as -15°C day or
night.
It does this by utilising a special
refrigerant
instead of water.
Our systems are capable of extracting sufficient
warmth to heat domestic and commercial hot
water cylinders to 55°C even on the coldest
winter days. |
The
very best modern gas or oil boiler can only chieve
maximum efficiency levels of 95%, a thermodynamic
system has a much higher efficiency; this translates
into clean, secure and free energy. Great for
you, great for the environment. |
Compatible
Applications
|
|
As
well as its environmental and economic benefits,
the reliability of the thermodynamic hot water
system is demonstrated by the thousands of systems
already installed on the continent. Maintenance
is practically non-existent, guaranteeing you
absolute peace of mind.
The system can be scaled to suit most domestic and commercial applications including,
domestic omes, shops, restaurants, hotels, commercial offices and so much more
- just ask.
How It Works
There are four stages to the process:
1. Aluminium Panels. A special fluid circulates through the aluminium panels
where energy is absorbed from the ambient temperature transforming the liquid
into a gas.
2. Compressor. The gas is then compressed inside the compressor which causes
it to become very hot.
3. Hot Water Cylinder. This hot gas then ?ows through a heat exchanger inside
the water cylinder which in turn heats the water.
4. Expansion Valve. Finally, the gas goes through an expansion valve and reverts
back to a liquid which flows back into the aluminium panels and the process repeats.
