Underfloor
heating is now the heating system of choice
for heating buildings in the UK. The system
works by circulating warm water through pipes
in the building’s floor. Effectively
your whole floor becomes one big radiator
There are Underfloor heating systems available for all types of floor
constructions, for both downstairs and upstairs, and you can put just
about any floor covering (tiles, laminate, stone, timber, carpet) over
the underfloor heating, however some will emit the heat better than
others, see floor finishes.
